So I made the mistake of searching tempest for a Polaris 3 wheeler last night. I guess the good news is that I got pizza king on my trip to Evansville Indiana. I love that place. And now I own 5 Polaris 3-wheelers. This one is rough, the last one was as well. Paid $250 and it runs. Can't complain. It needs some parts but I have most of what it needs.

Hey as long as you're having fun that's what counts. Congrats on the find. What year is it? What's the displacement?

It don't really look all that bad, running ridable machine for $250 sounds like a good deal to me. There are a couple of yamahas around me for $350ish, but too far away to bother with.

I know what you mean. It took me like 7 years before I ever came across one for sale. I guess they made around 1600 and half are probably gone but it seems like I've seen (on the net) about 2000. lol.
I have only seen 5 in person and I own them all. lol.

How much gas does that tank hold? It looks pretty heavy duty, I'd like to own one of them someday.

Yeah I picked up that truck a few months back. Ford Super Duty, V10, 5-speed, 4x4, 4.30 gears, extended cab short bed. Its been used as a truck but I'm doing the same so its perfect. I'm looking for a trailer now, preferably a gooseneck. Need something to haul my Bronco, I hate borrowing Trailers. Got over 12.5 mpg picking up this Polaris, can't complain one bit. Trikefest is definitely on the to do list. We'll see.

Those trikes kind of have a face only a mother could love. Blown, what kind of Bronco do you have?

Haha. I don't think anyone said they were good looking! haha.
I have a 79 Bronco mud toy. Built 400 on 35x15.50 super swampers. I've got several 76-79 Ford 4x4 pick ups as well.

A few years ago Polaris had 1716 for production numbers on their web site. They have since taken it down.

Hey, maybe this is #6 for you..
Not really my favour..this thing has been bouncing around CL in Michigan since last fall.
Looks nice for someone into the Polaris trike..at least from what the tiny little picture shows.
