well i dont like to ask for help but this is really the first time i have no idea whats wrong. here the story, i ran my 200s all summer with little problem, it only smoked some but that was because of a scratch in the cylinder and the piston was misssing one of the two rings. so anyway i bought a good used cylinder that was resently bored with a new piston. since i had no time to install it (cause i was off to college) i parked it in my friends back yard. this week i got back for break so i installed the new cylinder. i yanked the rope and right way the engine started up and ran for a few seconds then died. fuled with the choke but i couldnt get it started. finlly with full choke and my friend holding down the throttle i was able to drive it to the trailer and bring it back to my house. iv been trying for a while now and i cant start it, sometime it will sputter like its about to start and die. carb is clean, has great spark, and im sure timing si correct. checked the boot for wholes and it all checks out good. the one thing im not sure about is the air screw on the outside of the carb. anyone know the stock setting for a 1985 200s?? i put the niddle to the highest setting but the spark plug doesnt seem to get wet at all. anyone have any ideas???

pilot - 2 1/4 turns out
needle clip - 3rd groove
With the bored out cylinder you may have to rejet it.

ok now its getting really wierd. ok so i messed with the screw and did some fiddling with the carb. engine started right up and i was engine able to ride it around (altough it did smoke some but i figured that i could work that out later). then i called it a day, parked it in the garage. next day i go to start it. pull, it starts right up, then my mom calls me in to wash the dishes so before i get to ride it i turn it off and run inside to wash the dishes. i come back out and before starting it i put the hose the hooks the air box to the carb (iv been running it without it when i was working on it). pull the sting and nothing happens. pull it all day and nothing happens. im getting pissed. i know there is no problem with the wiring becuase i have tried 2 wiring harness, 2 cdi's, and 2 coil, all check out ok and i always have a nice bright spark. what the hell is going on here!!! now it wont start at all and the forcaster says snow is on the way. i cant miss that!!!
