anyone know if the triple trees off of an 86 200x will work on a 85 200x.

No they won't fit, the 86-87 200x triple trees are different and won't bolt up unless you cut and weld a new stop on the frame. You need 83-85 triples....which are a LOT easier to find anyway.

How is the stop different in the 86 and 87?? What year are these below??
