Proper Break In

I just got my kxt 250 rebuilt (crank bearings, seals, piston, and rings). What is the best way to break the motor in?

Just put around on it, no more than half throttle, go through the gears nice and easy, varying the throttle position, for about half an hour, to 45 minutes.

some top engine builders like to see a heat and kool cycle or two before ever riding,,,, i always do too,, i don't think it hurts to do them,, but when someone smarter than me tells me something i listen,,,,,,

I ran it three times with 20 min cool downs in between. I havent taken it out for a ride yet though. :-D
