Your carb may need adjusting?

I get it started up,drive around for 10mins then when it heats up it starts backfiring a little when i let off it then it just shuts off like 2mins later...after 1 min of sitting it will start up and do the exact same thing

maybe soemthign is getting heat t soaked maybe one of your electrical components are falty and they only trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro the bed when they are heated up. this happens with cars all the time i dont see why it couldnt happen on a wheeler.

What part in the electrick system would it be?

not sure but that sounds alot like what your prob is if it runs awsoem for like ten minuites then starts crapping out on you also do a plug check and see if it is running realy rich or something liek that but it wouldnt start back up two mins later if it was hmm sounds like electrical to me

I have checked my plug and it seems a little black but i dont think it would have alot of effect cuz its pretty clean. If the piston was gone then it wouldnt even start and i would notice how easy it is to pull right?

true but about the plug being black i used to own the same 3 wheeler way back and it did the same thing yours is and id take the plug out and it would be realy blck because the carb was dialed in rong this may also be your problem how black are we talking about is the whole thing black or can you see soem white on it .you may be fouling the plug out too soem times to weak of a spark will cause this

i cant see any white around the bottom..I was just looking and mine has a 200e carb on it so it is probley getting too much gas cuz the float sets higher.

yeah your bike is running to rich and fouling the plugs on you you have to lean it out a bit and it should take care of your prob try running a D7EA NGK plug in it it is a tad bit hotter burning plug and might help you a bit with how rich its running but the proper fix would be to rejet the carb on it.

its because the plug is fouling out and can no longer creat a hot enouph spark to ignite the feul/air mixture so it cuts out and then finaly dies.

I have the same bike, factory, the needle should be right in the middle groove, 3 from the top, or 3 from the bottom, however you look at it. I have the mixture screw turned out 2 full turns and it seems to be the best it has ever been.

by saying my carb may need rejettin, does that mean moving the slide up or down on the groves?
