I saw it. Had some tractor style rear tires and looked like an overside plastic tank. Was a decent trike till it was upside down in the swamp for who knows how many days

That was a 81 ATC185s from what I could tell. The rear seat and fenders come off in 1 piece, the headlight ( smashed but identifiable ) and no shocks.
They didn't grab the trailer that was hooked to it when they found it. Shelby could have gotten another $50 for it. LOL
Nope, didn't see it. LOL

LOVE Shelby!! Wish they would have him do some crossover onto Swamp People!
"get that 3-wheeler baby gorilla!" LMAO!!!
Those rears looked like an old set of Rawhides. Years ago my friend has a 110 that had rears just like that and that's what they were.

I really hate to derail this thread, but that show is virtually unwatchable at this point. It's so poorly scripted and full of useless drama that only in 'Merica would it be a major feature of a channel that dares to call itself "History". I loved that channel when I was a teenager (14 years ago) and they actually showed things that had to do with history instead of drunken meth heads throwing chainsaws at each other.

I do agree but I still watch from time to time. I have been to the log show in Oregon (I use to be a log truck driver) and have talked to some guys with the show and they get paid by History channel to have "drama" on there jobsites. Other than that it is really cool how logging is without the drama.

You have no idea how many times when people ask me what I do and I tell them I am a logger they say "oh like on axe men?" To which I reply "No not even close." That show has given loggers a bad reputation as whining sniveling cry babies that cant get along with each other. If I had to work with someone like old man Rygard, I would quit and sue the stuffing out of the company for putting my life in danger by allowing him to keep his job. Logging is dangerous enough without all of the stupid crap they stage on that show.
Sure we play pranks on each other like filling someones gloves with grease, pulling the spark plug wire off of their spark plug, or turning their chain around backwards on their saw. But nothing that can get someone injured, or killed. I work with 1 other guy, and I trust him with my life every day we go out there. That feeling of trust is something I couldn't have with anyone on that show. Yeah Scott (co worker) and I drink beer in the evenings after work. Some times a little too much, but we dont come to work hung over like they showed on the first couple of seasons of the show.
I used to work alongside my cousin Mikie. Scott is the 4th partner that I have worked with since Mikie passed away from cancer at 27 years old 4 years ago and the only one I felt as safe with as my cousin. Mikie and I knew what each other was thinking most of the time. That kind of trust isnt easy to come by with just anybody. I will do whatever it takes to go home to my wife and daughter every night in one piece. Sure we have had lots of close calls in the past from falling limbs and grapevine tangles. Some so close that a split second could have had a completely different ending than just standing there going holy crap that almost hit me. I never tell my wife about any close calls and try to hide bumps and bruises from her so she wont worry any more than she already does.
Sorry to get side tracked, but I have a hard time believing how so many people can think all of that crap is the way it really is. It is still a very dangerous occupation and not the way it is portrayed on TV.

Shelby is funny. But you can be sure a bunch of it is staged as well. I might have a tv on, but normally I am doing something else as well.

Was able to watch it "on demand" last night. Fast forwarded to the spots with the trike. Not much to show but a $50 parts machine and that may be a stretch. Was semi comical though. I can tell you I met hoosier logger at TF last year and he nothing like Shelby........................Until he's had too many Yuengling lagers:lol: :beer

Even then I am a little more reserved than Shelby. at least I wasn't one of them that was hanging out of the tree by my feet. Had I been awake I might have been right there with them. LOL:beer
