Figured i'd post this up for you guys who like real neat swingarms.

This is on my 86 R, i used the exact same color that it had on it... It was just all rusty and crappy looking.

Sandblasted until a ran out of sand, and had to wire wheel the rest....

Yes its a Bills sectional pipe and silencer.

Its a good pipe, sounds good, and performs good. Its a real strong mid range pipe.

A few people have thought it was a champion, I just wish i could find it in an old magazine or something to be 100 % sure. I'm fairly sure the PO just stuck that durablue sticker on there people it was blue... lol

Damn, thats also a very nice swinger. I like the carrier spin stop bolt and the 4 pinch bolt design. My question is, what do you use for seals if it has 4 pinch bolts? Looks like there is no seals in the picture.

Do you know who made yours? Looks really similar to mine.

I cant remember who made mine but I believe there was only a few of them made and they were given to racers. I did hear the story off the guy who sold me the bike but I can't remember. He's a genuine guy so he has no reason to lie. I'll have to get in contact with him and find out. I do remember that the skid plate was for a 400ex. Unsure on the seal situation. I'll check it out next time I'm at my trike storage.

Interesting. The skidplate spacing on mine matches the 86 Oem skidplate bolt spacing. Let me know what you find out. These swingarms are tits. Yours looks incredible in that color
