will a 200X shock work on a 85 TRI Z 250

my friend has a complete 84 200x shock in real nice shape and he gave it to me because my tri z shock is blown before i take my old shock off will the 200x shock even work on my tri z. i havent compared them yet but i think i herd of soem one on here using one get back to me ASAP thanx.

dam it lol i thought i herd some ware about some one using one on there tri z. guess im out of luck again lol guess i better go find a warrior shock some ware what other shocks will work on a tri z would a YZ 250 dirt bike shock work by any chance
