Well with the money from parting out my zinger i wanna invest in a new trike. Im going back to honda and staying there. I wanna build a nice racer 90, 110, 185s. How hard is it to find an aftermarket frame for a 185s? What are some parts and upgrades i could do to a 90 or 110?

Possibly buy Nicholson made race frames back in the day for trikes. They had a bunch. Youd have to ask some more experienced members.

What is the benefit of the Nicholson frames over the stock frame?

Nicholson did not make any frames for the atc70 or the 200x. Now saying this, there should be a Nicholson atc70 frame show up! LOL Most of the 185s suspension frames, were weld on or bolt on kits, the weld on kits being more numerous. There were a couple makers of 185s suspension frames though, mainly Nicholson and Hi Performance ATC, examples of both floating around here on the boards. The usual pipes for the suspension frames are 200x pipes, so they are quite available. I'm sure people fabbed up some semi custom systems as well. Engines that fit in these frames back in the day were varied as well. From stock 185s engines all the way up to Frankenstein like mix and match engines that used 185s parts and dirtbike engine parts to combine manual clutch and pull start elements of both engines. The main limit is your wallet and mechanical ability and the initial frame. Best of luck with what you find and what you decide to do.

Yeah finding good aftermarket parts is a long shot up in NY cause racing wasnt as big here. I think if i did a mod bike it would have to be a 90 or 110 just because parts seem alot more common.
