Silly SONY may not let these upload.

Just fyi, I picked the ugliest, darnnear theftproof it is so ugly,
to do the chores for this day.
It's a 250sx and in a moment of weakness,
tried to put an 84 rear rack on it.

THEY FIT!!!
of course, nothing else does but it will carry a chainsaw and you hafta sit on the airbox
and ride with fingers crossed ( and a helmet)

Ok, a prize will be given for the ugliest DAILY rider, unless considered verboten
by the t.o.u. policies.

All proeeds go to 3ww and their wonderful causes.

PS - That IS a neodymium magnet on the drainplug.
I also have one on ALL my differential fill plugs and every other piece of equipment on the farm.
Super cheap and makes sense in a totally paranoid sorta way.
2 of these magnets will draw blood if they snap together.
NOT a toy!!

Wickedly strong and I visualize roller bearing flakes being attracted to them.

I'm not sure anyone will beat ya Tri again ! She's pretty rough :). Uber, those BA rims and tires disqualify you ! Those magnets should be onEVERY plug anywhere near oil on everything that moves! Where do you source yours tri?

I admire your wiring. I've never had the knack for coordinating the colors.

And as per atc007, Uber's left rear wheel and headlight are worth more than triagain's whole trike.

I often wakeup in a cold sweat wondering what kind of person does something like that to an innocent machine. Even most Mexicans would cringe at the sight of something like that. No wonder you weren’t scared to paint your fenders, heck, having seen it now I suggest you use two coats to be sure!

Lol that's how I bought it, it was painted black and it was peeling and the yellow was showing, so in that pic it was al muddy and the front fender was red? But now it looks alot better. It won't let me upload my good pic on my phone

I have an old sofa cushion and a partial roll of duct tape if you want to build a seat. It has just enough stains on it to match the trike. $30.00 plus shipping and it's yours!

Local hardware store at about a buck each but I clicked on the 'wrong' ebay source.
Got 20 for 7$ but realized they were shipping from China but they were still here within a week.
Some place in Fremont CA , among other in country, are selling pretty checp too.

Make sure of the diameter and thinkness as they are easier to handle.
I think mine are 10mm diameter, maybe 8 but as thick as a matchbook.

One will pick up a 12" crescent wrench and pinch yer fingers fer sure.
I particularly like the one on the es/sx gear oil drain.
Just makes me sleep better.

Amen,
I got this thing just as it is and hate to mess it up.
The wiring drives everyone crazy.
I may just put in a fake house light switch as a cherry on top.

It starts with 1/2 kick and actually has an accelerator pump carb so wheelie fast and will drag 500 pound logs out of the woods with no problem.
Funny too 'cause no one wants to ride it.
It's in it's own bubble of protective ugliness.

I picked this one up for my brother for $75. It didn't run... it had no pull start, so the PO was trying to start it with a cordless drill... the wrong direction. After tossing on a pull starter, this is the result, with my daughter piloting it... keep a barf bag handy... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zl61lN0UOwo&feature=youtu.be

PS I forgot to mention, I christened it "The Turd". A few details: no seat pan, 3 different bald tires with different colored spray bombed wheels, spray bombed broken/missing fenders, 110 front forks, lots of missing parts, but it ran and stopped good!

What a nice family event.
I like the idle pop that goes instantly into perfect acceration.

We should have a few trikes out tomorrow.
They always make me smile.

Thanks

That's why I put the second pic before I put $350 worth of rims and tires on it!!

10mm neodymium magnet on the gear oil drain plug.
This lil' magnet will easily pick up a 12" pipe wrench.

Haha Shortline's is great, and everything still has a function :).

My entries are not quite that extreme lol. First is a 85 sx with a big red front end (down grade?!) and big red plastics. The white wire was some kid's attempt at hot wiring the starter to override the safty of now allowing it to start in gear (was in 1st gear when I got it). I don't really ride it atm (i do have a tank for it), mainly because the 1 way bearing for the kick starter is shot. Gas pours all over when I run it, might be a small problem as well lol.

The 2nd machine is my daily rider 85 250es. Front shocks are so bad that water is in them now and it froze this last winter solid. I have a spare set, just been too lazy to install them. Been my rider in that shape for ~5 years.

I got this in a deal with a load of trikes. I was just going to part it out but it runs so nice and everthing works. An old farmer had it. It is an 86 250 Big Red. I use it almost everyday.

That machine reminds me a lot of mine, except in better shape :D. Looks like yours just needs some rear fenders and a front rack to be in pretty nice shape.

I never seen that style of tire worn so much, must have 20 years of usage on them!

The tires are wore so much because the guy had 2 farms about 3 miles apart, and he used this to run between them. Cows took care of the fenders.

My uncle put a set of 4 on his 680 rincon to drive it ~8 miles to state land to go riding. He said they were really smooth riding, and didn't notice any difference in the trails (he don't ride super hard, bad back), except for any mud he just about got stuck in.

Here is my ugly bike. I call it R2 or Ugly R. It runs great, needed barely anything but the plastics are beat. It was cheap so I had to buy it. It is going to be my wife's after I find a set of rider fenders for it.

Here is another entry for me, picked this beast up a few weeks ago, it is ridable, but... yea i wouldn't ride it far lol. Rear end has the nuts dangling that hole the axle in, bearings completely shot. Been sitting under a pine tree for around 5 years. IGN switch is touchey, but it does run great! Oh.... yes that is some sort of lawn mower relay, not even sure what it is for, I just jumped the starter since the button wasn't working.

Wow I must have missed this post the last time I replied, that is a LOT of breaks in the rear plastics, any good stories that go with the machine? Shocked the handle bars look stright yet ^.^.

ps2fixer I never rode that r and don't know anything about it really. My brother found it cheap. The engine has perfect cases, so I had him pick it up. I think that my brother said that it fell into the wrong hands at some point.

Interesting... perfect cases, plastic completely shot, everything else looks good, almost like they lost the plastic and put junk ones on to lower the value for you to get it cheap :).
