The frame could use some paint along with the rear brake pedal but for the most part it's done. I'd like to ditch the twist throttle for a thumb jobber though. A ton of new parts stock OEM Honda parts including tires/wheels and even a new swingarm. I found out that you can have as nice as trike as you want, just depends on the $$$ you want to spend.
I have already gotten it muddy, this pic's were after the bath.
Take a look at the seat pic and tell me how to get rid of that poop stain.

Here's the stain, soap and elbow grease did absolutely nothing to it. This ruins an otherwise perfect seat.

Nice machine. I have a couple questions for you though. I just got my FmF pipe and was pissed cuse I couldn't use the stock silincer. Is the silincer you have very loud? and is it spark arrested? And your 89 cylinder, is there a big power difference? It looks a little bit lighter in color and cleaner.

As far as your seat stain I think your screwed. My seat keeps water stains for days and days after constant riding and wiping. only if I dont wash it for like a month or dry it immediatley will the stans go away.

Man, dont tell me i'm screwed on the seat :( :(

No spark arrestor and yes its loud, almost irritating.

Not sure on the cylinder, didn't have the '86 but it has more low end than an 85R at least the one I rode. I also feel it has more low end than my tri-z and quite a bit more midrange. I do need to find a new grab bar. I have not taken it out of my yard so I really cant give you an honest assesment.

What about Simple Green? Anyone ever use that on there seat? I know it's powerfull stuff and dont want to risk making look worse.
Also I screwed up and ordered the wrong year headlight plastic, I have a new in the bag one for an '85R. Service Honda wanted a 20% restocking fee to send it back even after I re-ordered the correct 86 one. I paid $62.06 it. Make me an offer SHIPPED if you want it. It's the plastic only.

Try bleach white. I had stains just like that from grease on my 350x It game out perfect! Just spray let it set for a minute and spray it off. It should do the job! :D

Nice bike! Great job!. As for the seat, I use Castrol Super Clean on my bikes. Get the seat wet, put Super Clean on a sponge and scrub it in, then spray it off. Keep it away from polished aluminum.

Got to ride it quite a bit today. First I need to retract my statement saying I thought it had more low end the my Tri-Z. It doesn't but still pretty good. It feels stronger than the Z in the mid range and on top and doesn't has any bad vibes at all. But it does feel fat while sitting compared to the yamaha and doesn't have the steering lock to lock either. I like the rear shock much better on the ATC, need to ditch that Warrior one I got on the Z and get a real shock.
I think I will like the Yamaha better in the woods than the R, but need to ride it more. I dont care much for those stock rear tires, they seem break lose too easy. I like them both and will keep them both.

Yeah thats one nice looking bike. Your going to have to get some pics of the yami z and the r together. I'm finally getting a 85/86 I can't wait! Next in line maybe a tri-z, I just don't see to many out there. I've probally only seen 2 out riding on the sand.
