1983 ATC110 vin and motor numbers... Superior Blue....

Was running a vin off a 'superior blue' 110 carcass I found and I also bought a "running" 110 motor for my Joker frame build. Anyhow, The frame attached vin matched a 1983 110, which I assumed it would as the blue was a 1983 and the decal is still there with a build date. But I think there must be a typo in the info on the main page for the 110 motors in 1983. The motor attached to the 'blue' frame has a vin of TB02E (110) 2544XXX ('blue' frame DC441XXX) and the other complete motor I bought is 2515XXX. I think there's a typo on the main page as shows both 1981 and 1983 110 motors with identical TB02E-2200001 ... 1982 was TB02E - 2300003... so I think the 83 should be corrected to starting with 2500001~.

Also curious if others with the Superior Blue 110's have similar VINs. Wondering if Honda did all the blue ones at once, or just through a blue one together once and awhile.

Nope.... Superior Blue is the offical color name in the Honda Parts code/catalog. Like "Passion Red" and "Shasta White" for one of the years for the 350X tank. Tank colors were different between 85 and 86.

Thanks Mike.... The old 3wheeler world page listing the Honda info needs to be updated as I suspected. How are things in Monroe??? I use to work at Guardian Glass in Carleton. I was a dirt melter before I became a mathimatical edumacator hahahaha...
