The initial cost of the o-ring chain is higher, but O-ring chains are much less expensive to run.

Go to Rockymountianatv.com They have great prices on chains. I just picked up a Primary Drive X-ring chain for my R that has over 8,000 lbs of tensile strength for $45.00.

I have used o-ring chains for a while now.... They last a long time and are expensive. Next chain I buy will be a non o-ring, to try to squeeze just one more drop of juice out of my motor. Keep me posted, let me know what you find out.
