1986 tri z better then a 1985

Some one told me the 1986 yamaha tri z is better then a 1985 i was wondering why?

Also can anyone list like the specs of the tri z stock top speed and so fourth any information about them that you have,i believe im going to buy one real soon and was wondering about these things.

How many years were they made and what years are they?

the 85 is a 5 speed and the 86 is a 6 speed. ;)

The '86 also has larger diameter forks with a little more travel. '85-'86 were the only years made. '86 had the coollant overflow bottle relocated, different tire size, carb jetting, color choices.............might be something elese.
