atc 250r LINKAGE

hi, I have a 86 atc250r with an 85 swingarm, 85 linkage and carier. I was wondering if the 86 trx250r linkage would fit on the 85 atc 250r swingarm. I cant find linkages or linkage bearings anyware for the 85. plse help, thanks

yes, it will fit. You need the complete linkage, the piece that goes from frame to shock is different also. Bottom shock bolt is different too, its something like 14mm, not 12mm like 85 bolt.

Hello

Changing to linkages from another model will most likely change your suspension leverage ratios. I would not recommend it unless someone here has specifically done it and says it works ok or unless you can get the trx set up cheap enough to toss if you don't like how it works.

Hope this helps.They are the same length, just different bushing and bolt size like mentioned above.
