FCR carb users,hot start do anything?

Recently installed a FCR carb on my 350x.Was wondering if the hot start does anything?A few quad owners say doesn't do much.

If you stall with the new 450 when accelerating hard, then the hot start works. When the engine shuts off quickly and the cylinder is full of Un-burned gas the hot start is like the opposite of a choke. It opens up a air bypass that is like holding the throttle open a little bit to make starting easier. I have stalled my 450 under HARD acceleration, and have had to hold the throttle and hot start open to make it start.
