Hey guys, i just picked up a 84 honda atc 70 last week. I picked up a new ngk for it, in a cr7hsa. i see this plug is for a 73-74 atc 70 and 78-85 is supposed to be cr7hs. what is the difference and will it be ok?

Hello

Yes it is safe to tun. Don't be concerned about the "A" being there or not.

Hello

If I remember right, in your plugs case if there is a third suffix letter the third letter designates an electrode other than standard such as gold, iridium or platinum etc. Example, b8es is std tip b8esg is gold tip. If the tip is std there is no third letter. It gets very confusing.

Xlnt question, better to be sure than sorry.

Hello again

Sorry for the extra posts as I can not edit posts for some reason. Special tips are almost always made of thin wire. What is yours?

It appears to be a normal tip, just the same as the p.o.s. Champion plug I took out of it. Thanks for the advice!
