ok so i just got this for 125 bucks and it runs shitty it has great compression and i think it has good spark it lost spark when i was rideing it but i thightened the ground for the coil and it has good spark now. i cleaned the carb and gastank and i got it to idle a little and i rode it like a mile but it misses and back fires all the time and it boggs out but will not shut off but it was running better than when i got it and then it acked like it was running out of gas and then it would shut off but then i let it sit for like 1min and will fire back up so i ajusted the floats and it made no difference and i put new fule line on it and the tank is feeding the gas fine what should i do next ?

Sounds like something isn't right with your carb..either dirt is plugging your jet(s) or it sucking air someplace.

Backfiring is usually a sign of running lean..does it run better with the choke on?

Time to go back to basics, take the carb back off and clean it again. Blow it out with compressed air.

Also check the intake boot for cracks where it may may be drawing in air.

One last thing..lot of people assume 'I got great compression' but don't actually have a compression gauge. Pay $30 and get one..then do your compression test.

Since 20psi low on the compression will still seem fine, but it makes a world of difference trying to get your carb dialed in.

Don't leave the basics unchecked..you have more ability to answer the questions about the reason your trike isn't running well than we do!!
