A can am commercial just came on and it showed a atv with a rotex engine on it? I thought that they only used rotex engines on those tigers and snowmobiles

Most if not all Can-Am's came with Rotax engines. Same with Ski-Doo's. Bombardier has a long running relationship with Rotax.

And ROTAX engines are brutal... Just don't break their 4 strokes. You'll have a heart attack with part prices, specially cranks.

If I could I would run rotax in everything besides the Hondas. Love they have been together with bombardier since the 60s and have kept them unlike other power sport companies changing motor companies.

How'd you miss BRP (then called Bombardier) jumping into the ATV market in 2000 (maybe a year or 2 earlier) with the big ol DS650???! BRP/Bombardier/Ski-Doo/Sea-Doo, all Rotax, all the time....
