Finally got my 350X ! some pics

Been looking and wanting one for quite some time. Finally found one that I could not pass up. I bought it from the original owner. Dealer serviced it's entire life from the same dealer he bought it from in 1986 ( this guy was so organized ). It was kept nearly 100% stock , except for the twist throttle, handlebars ( original ones were bent when he let his friend ride it with the twisty ...never again ) and fork boots.
I swapped the rear rims /tires and removed the mudflap already so I could ride it the past few days, without doing any damage to some hard to find parts. I really need to get some rider plastics and seat before I do any serious damage. The previous owner also put clear film/tape on the sides of the tank. I can't tell if it discolored the tank or not. I was going to remove it but I figured I might as well just leave it on. The trike has spent it's entire life in CT. I can't figure out how someone could keep it so nice for 27+years given our horrible riding conditions around here.

Thanks Guys. For what it's worth, this is my first twist throttle ever on an atc. I will never go back to a thumb throttle for a sport atc ( 250R 350X 200X )

I would just leave that plastic on there but if the yellowing ever bothers you remove it and put new stuff on it, its just some of that 3m paint protector they sell for rock chip protection on hoods and such, it yellows in the sun after a few years, normally you don't notice it on dark colors but on a white tank your going to see it. If you decide to remove it wait for summer, leave it outside in the sun on a hot day and let the plastic soften up, it will peel right off, then clean up the residue with some goo gone, its orange oil based and won't hurt the paint. I have removed that stuff many many times from bikes, trikes, cars, you name it.
