I have a 250es and have been considering a tank pack or a rack pack. I'd like to see some pics of your tank and/or rack packs and hear how you like your setup along with some pro and cons of it.

Post 'em up! Thanks

Doesn't have to be big red specific, just looking for cargo carrying solutions that will keep things out of the elements. Thanks

I had a padded canvas carrier on one of my previous 250es..didn't care for it personally.

Seems I spent more time cleaning mud out of it.

Also I mostly trail ride, if it doesn't fit in the trunk I probably don't need it.

If I were to consider one again it would be a hard case with sealable lids. But they aren't cheap!!

I made up my own front storage box and find it very handy. I have had the Hondaline but like my home made better.

Thanks doug, I appreciate your input. I never gave cleaning a consideration.

the rack bags are handy!! rack on sx was too small with the side bars, but it fits the bigred perfect. 39.00 at cabelas. very similar to the one posted above at a fraction of the cost. Zippers are a bit cheap, but with the velcro and buckles you dont have to rely on them much.

This is an 'Oxford' tank bag.

166046 166047
166048

Attaches by magnets, although it can be strapped as well. It has a clear map pocket on top. This one spent best part of 15 minutes totally submerged in clay slurry when a colleague managed to turn the whole trike upsidedown. When the trike was righted, the bag was still attached and the contents (drink, sandwiches, camera, phone ect.) were completely dry! Also, as it's right in front of you, you'd soon notice if it fell off rather than get 5 miles down the trail look over your shoulder and think "Where the hell'd that go?", and it leaves the rear rack clear for tools, chainsaw, game, beer, ect., and keeps food and fragiles separate from oily messy nasties.
Hope it helps.

This was the other option... a pair of matching M/C topboxes. Somehow it just didn't look right.
