400ex hubs of course
I love it when the upgrade parts start coming in for my 200x. Now at 47" with the wheel offset she is looking pretty good. Next item on the list is buying rear tires for my new 9x9 ITP wheels that are sitting in the corner. I'd like a 20" flat track tire, are the holeshot copies any good?

yeah cost me $65 for the hubs. But I was aggrovated at my old hubs because someone before me removed the studs and used bolts. A real PITA for getting off when you have to use sockets on both sides, I just hate rigging stuff when you don't have too. I don't want to screw up my new wheels when I mount them so, it's a good investment.

my 85' 200x roller i bought was in the process of being converted into an auto-x and the guy put all kinds of mixed matched hardware store bolts in places that needed certain grade bolts. he rigged a lot of stuff. from what i understand 400ex hubs fit on a lot of other models. i would like to get two pair, one for the x and one for the 185s.

ITP gncc 20x10's on 9x9 itp baja rims. (3in 6out offset on 200x hub with +4 250R durablue axle) tires are are easy $100 peice. 6ply...wont pop holes in these unless you ride in a scrap yard.
my buddy has these on his 450r too and have been holding up nice for 3 years.

Bought the Pro Series version of the very same rim. A little plainer but still 9x9 with a 3+6 offset. Can't wait to afford tires ;)

I would not run spacers on stock 200x axle..they are very weak and bend easy but more power too ya.

For the price you guys are paying for spacers + factory ex hubs you should look into the G-force hubs. I have them on a few trikes and love them. They are billet aluminum, super well built and have held up under hard riding for years for me. They are around $90 a pair shipped.

I agree, and they work on Tecates too!

I would agree extended hubs are better if you want to go the cheaper route...less bolts and surfaces butting up against each other. I know not everyone has $500 sitting around for a heavy duty ext axle.
