tri-z pipe id needed

I found this pipe in a parts lot I'm buying.

I've never seen one like it. Especially the cuff that goes onto the cylinder. It's notched out. Kind of odd.

Not sure check the Tri-z pipe identification thread, but my that is fat right from the cylinder look like huge bottom end there.

I looked.. the pictures aren't there on the thread.

I looked closer.. the slits in the cuff part are home made.. cut out.. that sucks... but I want to weld a new cuff to it

ahhh i see, my guess is bassanni if your lucky. ask Tri-Z nate to post a picture of his or i will.

I guess this pipe isnt too special.. If it was someone would know what it is. I cant find a pic of a Bassini, so I dont know..

Anyone else have any opinions on it?

Purely speculation, but maybe a Jemco? It is a nice sectional none the less.

Whats the best way to go to fix the cuff at the header? Not sure what its called... It does seal up.. But I would like it to not be cut up like that. I have a few shotty dg pipes, and a few stock ones. I might cut the cuff off and have a dg or stock one welded on.. I know I cant weld too well.. So I have to find someone to do it.

I would love to have dynoport weld one of their cuffs on this. The dynoport pipe is the best fitting pipe for the z Ive ever come across. By far. The seal at the head is absolutely perfect.
