Hey guys...there was a guy on here years ago restoring metal tanks. Sycho....I think?

Anyway that was years ago. Anyone doing it now? That is quick and does good work?

You can do it yourself pretty easily if it's a rusted tank interior needing restoration. POR 15 gas tank restoration kits are available online or you can buy one at your local NAPA auto parts store.

I used POR 15 to coat wrought iron hand rails on my front door steps in 2002. There is no rust to this day. I've also coated the underside of my cargo van and pickup truck. Be advised that if you get it on your skin then it will be there for several days..

Been using a product called red kote fer bout twenty yrs and love it......do NOT use kreem!!!!!

Just to clarify. I am looking for the outside of the tank painted and decals applied and clear coated. Anyone?

I could do it for ya, but yer local body shop would likely be as reasonable by the time ya figure shipping....

I had a tank that had a few small dents and I called a dentless repair guy to take dents out, not a bad $50 spent. He took dents out, but if your going to paint do the sanding yourself or bodywork, it will save you a ton of dough!
