86 200X Gas Tanks ??????????

Does anybody know if an aftermarket plastic tank from an 83-85 200X will work on an 86 200X? Let me know. Thanks.

Ans since you are asking I'm sure you know they don't make plastic tanks for the 86-87 200x's.

How much of a difference is there between the 83-85 air scoops that mount onto the gas tank compared to the 86-87 air scoops?
