Just got in all new plastics and in the rear fender package it had 2 little L brackets and a small piece of paper saying to drill a 1/4" hole and attach the support wire to the hole in the L bracket. It doesnt give a descent discription of where this goes and there isnt any support wire that they mention. Any answers on this and if so can You post a picture of your rear maier fender setup from the underside PLEASE. Thanks guys...

The support wire mentioned is an OEM part - not from Maier - and fits into a molded area on the OEM rear fenders to support them from sagging or flopping around. Maier fenders do not have the molded area in the fenders so they suggest bolting it on using the L brackets and drilling a hole in the fender for the other end. Instead, I have always drilled a hole in a rubber stopper/cork from Lowe's and pressed it on each end of the wire to keep it from wearing a hole in the fender. It can still flop that way but not sag.
