I wanted to share with you all my latest find. I have been looking for a trike to trail ride / race in the short term and came accross this beast. This buggy was featured in the 3wheeling magazine and was a top racer in it's day. The chassis is all chromoly with ohlins shocks on the front and rear (duals). The motor has a yz-250 top end mated to the bottom end of an odyssey. She needs some TLC, but overall is in good shape. I will be dragging it in to the local performance shop for tuning and maitenance at the end of this month. I have never owned an odyssey, so am excited to get some riding time on this one. I plan on eventually restoring it to its former glory, but for now, she'll be a rider for me.

I realize this is not a three wheeler, but since it was in 3wheeling magazine I placed this thread here. Moderators feel free to relocate this thread if necessary.

The very same one. I have some of the race documentation for it as well as the frame is marked "Tom Price". It is pretty much the same as it was in the magazine, with the exception of the exhaust and radiator were slightly modified later in its racing days.

Wish I had the stones to get that kind of air in an Odyssey.

I saw that for sale too and I wish I had the coin for it. That things a total badass. Glad someone who takes care of their rides got it. Lord knows what would've happened to it if some d-bag got it.

Very cool machine!!!! It would be great to have a machine that was featured in a magazine. Especially 3wheeling magazine!!

I have the "Project ATC" that was built for 3 Wheeling Magazine's Premier issue. The build was covered in a few issues and was talked about with pic's in a few more issues. I got it from the editor of the magazine after he joined 3WW years ago.
I have had this machine at TF in the past. A few years ago it was brought back and hung up from the ceiling of the shop since. I'm hoping to bring it to my house once a get the special spot made for it. ;)

Thanks for the good comments guys. I have been without something that I can just get out and ride since I started my 350x project this last year. I'm going do some basic maitenance on it and spend this year and probably next year putting some good time on it. I do plan on restoring it eventually, but for now it will be a rider for me.

Does this mean we I will get an invite out and we will do some riding ?
