When I was running my 85 t3 last week, there was oil/gas coming from the silencer..
Today, I emptied the crackcase oil, and it was full of gas.... Why is gas filling the crankcase??
What should I do th fix it??
I already pulled the motor out, so I'm ready to start fixing whatever the problem is...
Thanks..
Sean if you have gas in the case, the needle/seat in the carb are not closing properly. It could be the petcock on the tank, or the float hight, or the needle/seat have worn out. PM me your # and I'll give you some carb specs if you want them.
GOOD LUCK

If it's in the gear box you probably have a bad gasket too.

If your exhaust is filling with fuel, its probably the needle and seat. Shutting off the petcok when its not running is the temporary bandaid.
If you are getting fuel in the crank oil, the only possible way I know is from the top end through the crank seals, or the seal between the case halves which almost never happens. With either route you almost alwasy have problems associated with vacuuum leaks, such as fluctuating idle, and excessive smoke from sucking crank oil into the top end when its running.
I did once see a guy who looked the carb overflow tube to the crank vent fitting.
