I think it would be cool to get ahold of a decent 86/87 125m and make some mods to it. What other possiblities are there for suspension. Do you know if like 200s forks will fit it or something like that? What 2 stroke motors will fit?

I know that you can get a performance exhaust for it and a kn filter but theres not alot out for it.U probley cant but much in it for a engine cuz of how the mounts go on.

I thought the mounts looked sort of like the ones on a 200x.

I was thinking the same thing about the 86/87 125m. They're good looking trikes and it'd be awesome to put some suspension under one. They've got the reverse and keyed ignition. Ive been looking for a possible project one.

the 125 mounts the same way the 110 mounts the piston goes striaght out so it would be hard to mount anything else in there.

Yeah I got me a 125m project also, but was worse than it looked.Didn't wanna invest a crapload of money into it.So,todat I cut the headtube of the frame and is going to be mated to a 4-zinger,so now it will be a 3-zinger. hahaha it's alive,it's alive

This is why I wanted an 86/87 model. Look at the pics.

I had a 85 125m and i found that it was a good trike,I think that the 86 with a bigger motor would be awesome project.

Well the fact that people have play bikes like the xr50 I wouldnt mind making a small play bike like a 70 or something.

I have had an '85 125M and loved it. It was a little on the small side but it rode well and I liked the high low. The piston came out straight so I don't think there would be the clearance for a 200 engine where the piston comes out at 90 degrees. I would just say bore the cyliner, put a high compression piston in it and change the sprocket size if you want more power and speed.
