1985 200x

Just picked up this 85 200x. ran two years ago but there is no spark now.
any suggestions? also the kick starter isn't as hard as my rm250 is this normal for a 4 stroke

it could be numerous things.....first id start off with the stator....check for continuity in the 2 wires, then go to the coil (where the spark plug boot is) i believe these are 2 common electrical components that go out..keep us posted...and post a pic of your rm in the bike section!
