had my 250sx running pretty good all summer. now thats its been sitting in the cold winter it wont start. pretty sure its just frozen lines and i dont think its getting gas but i decided to check the
compression anyways, after some kicks it was about 118psi, seems a bit low but i dont think its bad?? it didnt burn oil when it was running in the summer. is this too low?

That should be enough compression. What lines are you concerned about being frozen?

Honda 250es/sx are not good starters in the cold I ought to know! One trick I learned that helped me start mine in colder weather , was to use the Kick starter instead because using the electric start uses to much voltage (in cold weather) of course there are limits to how cold this will work.

ive never had the electric start work on it so i always have to use the kick start. i can put gas down the cylinder and it will run for a couple seconds and then die again.

Well then your problem is obviously with fuel. Check to see that fuel is flowing out of the tank. If fuel is making it to the carburetor then your problem lies within the carburetor.
