Anyone know if the 250R and 200X 1985 front hubs have the same size rotor etc?? Maybe the axle and spacers change a bit but the hubs all look identical - even the 350X looks exactly the same. But the 200X has a single piston caliper and the 250R a double - I guess thats why I question it. THANK YOU!!

I believe the only differance is the axle spacers.

the 200x front hub has the same brake rotor mounts, an the 200x front hub will bolt right on to the 85 R front end, but you MUST have a 200x front rim.......right now i have a 200x front hub, and front chrome rim....the bolt patterns are different though, a 200x hub will NOT fit the 85 R rim, and so on....

the 86-87 200x front hub is the same as the 85-86 250r, you can use the 250r front rim. The 83-85 200x hubs need 83-85 200x or 83-84 250r front rims if you want to stick with gold.

Thanks for all the help!

So it sounds like I'm all set??

I will be mounting 1985 200X triples on a 1985 ATC250SX ATC. I'm running 1985 ATC200X forks and have a 1985 ATC250R gold rim and hub - just wanted to make sure the 250R Tire and hub would work on the 200X front end.

Does that mean that either the 250R dual piston or 200X single piston front caliper will work on either 200 or 250R model providing I have the right mounting bracket??

Thank you again!!
