LOL! Still laughing at this! Man it must suck for tv to be that far behind when show aired. You had me stoked for a second that a 2nd bike had made the show! It did turn out nicely though when done!

It's actually a real show that's how they make a living and they restore there things to when they were on the show room floor and there stuff always looks amazing.

Well...you must take into consideration that we still live in igloos, eat whale blubber, and wear bear skins. Hell...I just picked up one of those new VHS players the other day! Woo-Hoo!
I think that the only TV we get that is up-to-date from US television, are the school shootings, kidnappings, car chases, and gunman sprees...and of course...american politics to no end.
The real joke about that episode was the $1000 used front tire...which, if you noticed was almost flat during the owners "test ride" at the end of the show. Normally, their "restorations" are quite good...but the job on that US90 was pretty far off...considering the restoration cost of nearly $6500! Holy crap! (at least I think that was the estimate Rick gave?).
I really wanted to see if they were able to find the original tire pump that attached to the frame! If that wasn't there...then it ain't no complete restoration. BTW...has anyone out there laid their eyes or hands on one of the US90 tire pumps? Never see them on those early 90's...must be the first thing to disappear.
