Hello poohbee1

Yes beautiful, saved the welding heat marks and all so it wasn't sand blasted, not hand sanded, it looks a little shinier than orig so maybe acid wash with "metal prep" and 4000 steel wool etc or possibly soda blast.

Are you gong to have it high temp clear coated?

Do you know who made it?

You have a VERY nice bike there too, not a scratch on the side cases etc.
Thanks

Hello Poohbee1

Photo is too small to see detail on metal,

Any swirl marks?

Maybe brass wire wheel on drill, finished by hand to remove swirl marks?

Wet sand with 800-1200 paper?

Hummm...?

I have been told to use an sos pad and to wipe down with wd-40 to bring out the original finish.

Have you tried to remove the dents?
The pipe looks like it was just striped and clear coated

I had no idea that they made aircraft repellant in a can. Where can i get a can so in the summer I can get rid of those pesky aircrafts.

I believe he retraces the weld seams after cleaning, with a torch to regain the freshly welded look. I suspect the original heat colors are erased with scrubbing. Wire wheel/brush, steel wool, Scotch Brite, ect....
