:cry: smashed a ct pipe right on the weld does anybody fix them . I have another but i was trying to save that one.162758

it can be welded up using a mig and stainless wire. (assuming its a stainless pipe)

That dosent look bad at all. I would consider that a ding. Some guys have had luck with spot welding a rod on there, and using a slide hammer to remove the dent.

I think I will take it off and put the other one on. I have a friend at a body shop I will see if he can do anything with it. still works great.

There is another method that involves plugging one end of the pipe and attaching an air hose to the other. Then you set it to a high enough psi to get some pressure built up and use a torch of some kind to heat the spot where the dent is. With any luck it should pop out, for more detailed info I'm sure you could find a video on youtube.

That will DEF pop with the air method.. VERY nice bike man,,very nice!!!!!!!!!

the air method looks kind of scary .thanks 007 finally got a complete short track kit now all I need is some aftermarket shrouds that fit so i can take mine off and put them away with the red tank.
