Chromer prices anyone?

I would like to know the going rate on chrome.I thought about having my 4-zinger frame dipped :twisted: .

Its pretty spendy here in Oregon, 150.00 for a 350x extended swinger. to much for me. Also I guess there is a couple different types of chroming, a show chrome and the bumper chrome. you want a bumper chrome for your frame I believe. the show chrome stratches to easy.

When I called a year ago, price in Wichita KS were like $40 a foot. I cant remember exactly, but I will know in the next month or so. Im gonna get a Tri Z frame chromed.

$40 a square foot? Yeah I want bumper chrome,cause this will be a rider to play around on.I want to go ahead and do this because I have to take It apart anyway,and I am cutting the front end off and grafting a '84 125m front end on :twisted: 4 to 3 wheels instead of 3 to 4. Should be sick when its finished.Anyways,would powdercoating be any cheaper?

powercoating is a lot cheaper. There is a guy near here that will dont a complete frame for $150, including pegs, levers, swingarm anything.
