Ok so the manual says the cylinder wear limit is 65.10mm. My cylinder is currently at 65.8mm. What are my options? I was just planning on slapping some new rings in it while i had it apart. Is this a bad idea? Do i need an oversized piston, or a different jug?

I would step up to a larger piston size. You could get a 10.5 piston and have the cylinder bored to it. Would probably be your cheapest option unless you want to keep the cylinder stock, which in that case you would have to get a sleeve.

What kind of markings are on your piston?

200X standard bore is 65mm. I bet your piston is already 1st over at 65.5mm and the cylinder is ready for 66mm.

How are you measuring?

i'm not sure what size my piston is, i should measure it. there were some light up and down scoring marks on the front and rear of the cylinder, but i honed them out and it looks beautiful now. I didn't consider that it could have possibly already been machined already. this engine has definitely been apart before.

ok so i got home tonite and took a look at my cylinder and on the top there is a 0.50MM stamped in it. some other stuff too "4156P2" and long the top rim there is a "H32A2" I'm assuming this is .50MM oversized. Which means the standard rings i bought arent going to work... Not sure what the rest of it means, if anyone can help identify the make of the piston with these other numbers go for it.

To correct a worn cylinder it needs to be bored and sized to the next oversize. Even if you resleeve it, it will still need resizing, new sleeves don't come "ready to run". And I think the 200x uses a cast in sleeve anyway.
