Looking to start a 250SX & 250ES head count thread..

Others have meantioned an interest in knowing the number for the 1987 models, also it would be good to know the numbers of 1986 & 1985 still alive and kicking..

If everyone could chime off as to what they have owner, or do own then add their count to the list..

Your example: I have owned 3 - 250SX, an 1986 which I sold last summer, and I own a 1985 & 1986 currently. My 250ES count is 4 to date..all 1985.

If you could add your counts to your post and so on, we could get an idea how many, what model and what years they are.

I think a single thread for each may be better because I was wanting to see just about the 87's myself.

I currently own 1 87 big red.

I have parted or resold more than 10 250es big reds though.most being 85's of course. Does that count? I probably have had more than 10 250sx's come through as well.

I have owned 2 85's and 1 86. Presently just have one 85 andone 86. Never came across a 87 around me.

one 85 ES! My grandpa bought it brand new in 86' used her for icefishing til about 92'. she sat until 98' when my brother and I found it in his barn with an old sheet over her! we cleaned the carb, and she fired right up. My brother and I have so many great memory's with that 3wheeler i wouldnt trade for the world. Sadly she is now sitting in my barn waiting to see some love again! I will find time for the old girl one day!:(

preservation particularly with '87 SX as I'm curious to know as well or at least see what is currently under the 3ww umbrella.

I've owned a handful of 85 Sx's probably 3 or 4, some got sold others where cannibalized for parts to keep the others going. Where the ones I sold are now and how they are doing/being treated, I haven't the slightest clue. See what I mean?

I agree with Little Dave's idea..I have created a triple column in the 1st entry of the thread. Owned/previous/parts..might as well figure out the total body count, living and dead.

Also it was my thought that everyone could copy the count columns and paste them into their own response. This will keep a running total and make it far easier to figure out..savy?
