Yeah! I got one too! Thanks to Curt I couldnt have done it without him!!!! Shocks are clapped. Motor is a single speed 90 that runs and I rode it ( after a push start) . As of now im just on the look out for another motor. Even a stock 70 motor has more nuts then this thing. Needs a chain adjuster also prolly have to make one.

Welcome to the club. LOL You have to find yourself a nice adult sized rear shock. Front shock rebuild, no problem. Find yourself some skateboard wheels for you chain tensioner, no problem. Make sure to reinforce your engine mounts, highly recommended, a weak point on the A+. Find yourself a nice 125 or larger lifan, no problem. Front disc brake, no problem, see blue 27 to get your hub that will fit and you will need to send him your lower fork tube to mount the tabs to attach your front caliper. You can also have a rear disc if need be. Yeah, you have some work to do and some money to spend. But you have the hardest part, the A+ itself. Now get busy! LOL

Nice, now get it done!!!!lol I can send some pics and measurements of the chain adj if you need it. Front forks are XR75 27mm easy to rebuild, rear shock just find something and make new mounts, tough part is the narrow rear subframe does not leave alot of room for a shock. Hit me up with questions, I will help as much as I can.

Xowner, You can also get copies of your rear fender from blue27 as well as the repro decal for the A+ sticker on the steering neck.

Look towards an 81/82 atc250r rear shock or something around those dimensions. You'll probably have to fab the chain tensioner arms and make one, but no big deal. As far as gears, you will probably have to play with front and rear sprockets. But it's hard to beat the lifan engines for price.

I'm not sure what he means by a single speed 90. A honda 90/110 would not be a bolt in for the stock A+ frame. Also, the way the engine mounts are made, someone would've had to do some cutting and rewelding to fit a honda 90/110 engine in a stock A+ frame. So now I'm really curious!

What seems to be the difference, I know I have seen 110 motors in the 70's so whats makes it not fit is it a big deal or something?

The bottom engine mounts are lower on a 90/110. you'd need to weld on a new lower mount or drill a hole in the frame for the lower mount bolt. All the pit bike motors are based off of the 70 motor, so they are a direct bolt in.

The upper and lower engine mounts on the A+ are 2 seperate mounts. So when a mount doesn't line up on the A+, you have to physically relocate the engine mount. On a stock 70, it's basically just drilling a new hole in the existing plate.
