85 Trimoto 200!

Snagged it for $150, new tires, brakes, engine and frame look money, its 90% there. Electricals look kind of haggard, seat is money, plastics need a steel wool treatment, pull start is off and in pieces...nothing broke, carb issues though.... leaks out of the overflow on bottom of carb, why is this? Wrong float position? The screw is tight, just dumps out. Other than that, good compression, hopefully shes a runner!

Running out the overflow because the float valve isn't seating..fuel is leaking into the bowl and overfilling it then running out the hole..

Pull the carb and give it a thorough cleaning..

Good score for $150

Shes a runner! Took her out back into the woods, started 3rd pull! Built a pull start out of 225 DX parts I had from my parts rig. Handles better and has a bit more power than my past 84 200s. Shifts WAY better thats for sure. Has carb probs still, carb pours out of overflow when it idles, and carb bowl runs out of gas when you ride it for 5 mins, solution is to let it idle for 30 secs for bowl to fill back up.

Guess 2 things are happening...

1. petcock isn't letting enough fuel through
2. carb float adjusted wrong
