? about lowering my 86 ATC 250r

I have an 86 250r that I wanna lower...I know how to do it but what is the best way. I found a few adjustable dogbones and whatnot....just wondering who on here has lowered theirs and how did they do it. Please post pictures if you can. Thanks!
