i have a 1980 atc185 and im looking for an airbox that will just bolt on

what years fit the 1980 atc185

I think that the 80-83 185's would be very similar, try parts fish.com to be sure.

If you have trouble finding one Dennis Kirk does sell the K&N kits that are made to replace the factory airbox, problem is you loose the water resistance of the stock setup and may have to mess around with your carb mixture a bit.

Why get a whole air box? Im planning on just buying a clamp on UNI filter for my 185s. They are easier to clean and you don't have to put up with bruised knuckles trying to put those rubber tubes back on.

Sorry, the '81-'83 airbox is different. If they were the same then I would sell you mine.

The 1981 and 1982 ATC185S have the same airbox, the 1983 ATC185S has a different airbox. You can also use an ATC200 airbox(not200S/ES/M or etc).
