Shipping is pretty ressonable through UPS. I shipped a 200X motor for around $50 bucks. I used a plastic tote(i.e.tub),with alot of foam.

P.s. if you need a tote i can sell you some or one. Just pm me or email and let know!

84 250 R did you ship it across town???!!!! UPS must be different where I live! I swear their prices are getting insane it seems. I shipped a 185 (forget where to) for $90. I supported it with pieces of 2x4. I put a 2x4 around the front and secured it with plumbers strap to keep it sitting upright. UPS tends to be pretty rough with stuff in general so pack it well!

dont forget to drain all the oil out of it, or it is considered hazardous.

Use a large rubbermaid box with a lid.. then drill holes and zip[ tie the lid closed. Also throw in some packing around the motor to keep it from moving around in the box...

Shipping via UPS from any coast to Kansas is less then $50. Ive never paid more then 50 for shipping a motor.

I just shipped a small motor bottom end from Ohio to Ny for under $20. I have also had a complete 350x motor shipped from Washington ( state ) to me in Ohio for $65 It weight 110lbs. ;)

UPS is the only way to go here.
