different forks

i've got a 86' yamaha 200ER and i was wondering if i could change over the forks and make the front narrower, if this is possible, wat other sets of forks cuold i use?

That's a good question! I know the 250SX guys swap the SX front for a 200X or 350X front.

I'd probably look into an 85 Tri-Z front end. Unlike the Honda's, you don't have much choice for Yamaha sport trikes. 85Z front end should be fairly easy to find. They have a larger tire and you get the dual headlight and disc brake. You do need the whole front including triple clamps.
