ok i picked up a 82 or 83 big red i dont really know what year it is for 60 bucks it was off a friend and it was running a couple months ago but the chain kept falling off i think the rear barrings r just bad ,he also broke the pull rope and i cant see if it has spark or if the eltric start works because he lost the key here r some pics theas were when i was starting to take it apart . ill get better ones sunday 160478160479160480 o yea after the one pic i pumped the tire up and all of them hold air!!!

well worth 60 $.. a good honda shop can make you a new key if you take the ignition switch to them. .( 10 $ ). and just rebuild the recoil... have fun....

Just unplug the wires to the ignition switch so it will run, plug the red and red/yellow wires together to run power to everything and leave the other two wires which are the ignition kill unplugged. No key needed.

i just stuck a screwdriver in it and broke it that worked and ir runs amazing i put a new plug in it and it fired right up i put the chain on it and rode it all day sunday but the rear barrings r really bad so the chain fell off once so i just bought some new barrings and i have to put them in any tips on that? thanks

Make sure both sprockets are in good shape and your chain is tighten correctly. On the 200 big reds it can be a MAJOR PITA to get the chain back on the front sprocket if it comes off, not to mention chains flying off will bust your case then your uber screwed.
