I installed '89 CR inverted forks on my '85 250R. [Modified triple clamps]. The forks are great. It lands from jumps just about like my '01 CR 250. My problem is, I can't quite figure out mounting for the front brake. If anyone has done the same thing, any suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

Yeah I second that, I'm going through the same thing with my Project 500X's front suspension. Pictures would be awesome.

Sweet, can't wait to see them. What forks did you use? Did you do anything to modify the length of them? Mine are modified 89 CR500's. I'm pretty sure I'll have to do some adjusting once I get them on the trike. I still have to peice them back together...putting forks seals in is a pain in the ass.

I didn't do anything to the length. I put them up in the clamps as far as I could, wich wasn't far. I used '89 CR 250 forks. It set my front end up about 3 inches. I have a 3 inch extended swingarm so the back used to sit higher than the front. now the front sits slightly higher so I think I'm going to a 6 inch swingarm and probably a new spring on the back. It definately was worth the work. By far one of the best mods I have done.
