Anyone know how many lugs are on 22-11-8 Carlisle knobby tires? I do there are 336 of them. I spent the majority of the day taking 672 5/8" sheet metal screws out of the 2 back tires of a 110 I bought a while back. Someone used them as ice studs. The pisser is the tires look like they were brand new before someone had a stroke of genius. They still have the thin piece of rubber that squeezed out of the mold halves. Most of the screws had the heads worn completely off from pavement. The tips went all the way inside the tire. I cant understand why they didn't use shorter screws for poor mans ice studs.
I am not bashing anyone for being broke. I have been broke most of my life, and had alot of fun doing it. But dang why not shorter screws? They would have been cheaper. Plus it wouldn't have put holes in the tires that now makes them need tubes.
Some peoples kids.
