OK so this is it :
This guy wants to buy my '85 SX and he has a 1992 LT250R with FMF pipe and DG nerf bar. He would like to trade it for my trike, but I don't know the price I would pay yet. My dad (I'm 16 years old) doesn't like much 2x4 quads with a clutch cuz he says «When you'll go in mud, you'll keep on staying stuck»....should i trade with him?

i say stick with your plans, mod your trike, let the LT owner continue to envy you.....hehe

Yea I just talked with my dad...he says No way! If you would do that, you would change for a worst thing than your trike!

if it is ever up and the LT is in good shape I would definately trade. if they are both in the same condition the LT would have more value. to each his own. ---Joe 8)

i kinda read between the lines on your first post....the guy wanting to trade, plus your age, lead me to believe that your SX is in fairly good condition and the LT was trash...

i figured he was trying to CHISEL ya

Plus me being a dad i always have to side with the wiser of you both

I don't know very well...it seems in good shape, but maybe the engine will break down in 2 months? I dunno...

I've got a question for you guys. If I keep my SX, i really wanna modify it by putting a better shock. Does a 250R or a 350X shock fit in there?? If not, what do I have to change to put it in there?

Also, is there a K&N air filter that does appart to the 250SX ?

There IS a K&N that will fit in the stock airbox, I have one on my 85 250sx. There is no p/n on it however, if I get some time I'll take a pic of it.
