Figured it was time to replace my beat to trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro yamaha 225 dr. After some patient looking around i found this survivor. Its in mint shape asides from the rear fender and a new white one is on the way from maier. It has an after market plastic tank as well as a brand new seat cover. Just have to put some nobbies on the back and ill be ready for the spring!

Aw c'mon now Steve, just a little water? LOL, The 86-87 SX's have the sealed drum, don't they? I seem to remember taking my 87 in the drink many times with no issues................

^ I hear ya. Just remember that the seals are as old as the trikes.
And HONDA didn't put any silicone grease on them nor the splines.
EVERY manufacturer wants a fine line of dependable versus perfect.
This is why people go to rebuild a rear axle carrier (200X,250R,350X etc etc) every hub as well as the brake and sprocket hub have ZERO grease on them and then people get out the hammer and stuff gets ruined.
Play in the water, just don't make it the trail :beer
They don't put a brake drum drain plug on there for nothing..........
