Hey all i just bought this 110 and i drained the oil on it as a preventative measure. I found on my drain pan what looks to be like small black pieces of rubber. I put them in my hand and could break them apart. Maybe part of the clutch discs? They were small like grains of sand and it wasnt an overwhelming amout but enough to notice. Can anyone help me figure this out or know what it is? Id like to leave the clutch cover on if i can :)

Possibly burnt oil or the only rubber I can think of in these motors are the timing chain guides and tensioner roller .

They also have the rubber with the screen for the oil strainer. Possibility it come apart since it right above the oil plug drain hole.

I just rebuilt the clutch of my 225dx. Prior to the rebuild I had perfectly clean oil. During break-in I had black rubber pieces in my oil filter. I know it came from the primary centrifugal clutch. So I think it could be off of your clutch. I'm sure it's harmless. Just make sure to change your oil often to flush out any loose particles. Change the filter and clean the screen also
